Shans Trading was established in 2017 with an objective to assist the indigenous landowners to excel in the timber business. We let them have access to proper milling facilities and machinery.

In 2018 it permanently established its milling infrastructure and has since expanded to where it is now. The existing milling infrastructure can cater an output production of 4000 to 5000 cubic per year but can expand if demand arises.

Our focus is primarily aimed for both Export and Domestic market.

We are consistently exporting 460 to 500 cubic of output timber per shipment to meet our China market. The Japanese market recorded an export value ofFJD152,000 in the past shipment which amounted to approximate value of around80 cubic of output product.

Our company has a milling life of 10 years meaning we can consistently supply to any demand within that period against our current stock. We have 6 different log licenses with the stock of around 50,000 cubic of logs which can guarantee a25,000 cubic of output timber. This gives guarantee to a 4000 cubic of export product every year in the next 6 years. We are still formalizing other resources areas which can further expand our milling life.

We have invested in our machinery capability having installed a new 4 sider machines and a moulding machine to meet our flooring and decking markets and especially mahogany orders.

We guarantee a mahogany output supply of any specifications and any given volume in a year. When demand arises, we are also committed to expanding our manufacturing facilities to meet all needs.
